The following is a character reference for Craig Wright of 95 Woodview Avenue, Lisarow.

I have known Craig in the capacity of a donor to UnitingCare Burnside Hastings Family Support Centre for approximately 8 years.

Craig first contacted our centre with a donation of fresh eggs from his farm to be given to disadvantaged families using the services of Hastings Family Support Centre.
Craig took a great interest in the work emanating from the centre and his original donation of eggs quickly escalated to include fresh vegetables.
Craig has also donated Christmas parties to over 70 families and 200 children for 5 years to ensure disadvantaged families had a Christmas they would never forget.

Craig has a professional background with computers and with great insight saw that vulnerable families who could not afford a computer would greatly benefit from having access to such technology so they would have an opportunity to escape the poverty trap they were in.
Craig acted on this idea immediately and sourced and reconditioned computers for clientele of Burnside.
Computer donations have now become a regular event with Craig and so far over 30 families have benefited from his resourcefulness and kindness.

Craig never fails to think of UnitingCare Burnside if he sees an opportunity to do even more. An example of this was when Craig won a competition overseas and he directed the money he won be paid to our centre and to be spent on a family who needed extra support immediately.


I have always found Craig to be outstanding with his donations, never wanting formal recognition from those he generously gives to. Craig quietly strives to make the lives of those who are less fortunate more bearable while at the same time endeavours to provide opportunities for families that will be life changing for them.


Craig has the ability to formalise a vision and see it through with a planned approach that has benefits for many people.

Craig is a person who is overwhelming generous; kind; dependable; reliable and consistent to those less fortunate than himself.

Craig has a personal aim which is to contribute to a disadvantaged section of the community that will ultimately see long term gains and positive changes to individuals and their families.

I cannot speak highly enough of Craig with the ongoing support he has given to UnitingCare Burnside Hastings Family Support Centre over a lengthy period of time.
